Profound courage deserves a system that truly supports it.

The Carer Project follows three Western Australian parent carers of children with complex medical and disability needs, each at a different stage of life. Through sleepless nights, financial pressure and long stretches without respite, they keep their families going.

With the right support, carers can take part fully in their communities. The film asks what that support should look like, and who is responsible for providing it.
